Our board uses the classic 10×10 layout with eight snakes and eight ladders carefully placed to create dramatic comebacks. Heads like 99→54 and 70→55 punish the leader, while ladders like 3→22 and 47→68 reward bold pushes. Roll by tapping the dice or pressing Space, watch your token hop square by square with a smooth animation, and see snakes hiss and ladders glow when triggered.

How to play Snakes & Ladders
- Race to 100. Start at 1. Roll the dice (1-6) and move your token. First to land exactly on 100 wins — overshoot and you stay put.
- Climb ladders. Land on a ladder foot (e.g., 3→22, 47→68) and climb instantly to the top.
- Avoid snakes. Land on a snake head (e.g., 99→54, 56→8) and slide down to its tail. Watch the board highlights!
- Take turns vs AI. You roll, then the AI rolls. Tap Roll or press Space. The AI moves automatically.
- Win faster for more points. Win in fewer rolls and fewer snake slides for a higher score and more Retro Coins. Best is saved.
