Flow Free is one of the most satisfying puzzle games ever created, and the concept is as elegant as it is deep. A grid is scattered with pairs of colored dots. Your job is to connect each matching pair with a pipe-path, so that every cell on the grid is covered and no two pipes cross or overlap.
The early levels are gentle introductions: small grids with just two or three color pairs. But as you advance, the grids grow to 7x7, 8x8 and beyond, with five or six colors weaving around each other in increasingly tight configurations. Some puzzles have only one solution, and finding it requires real spatial reasoning.
The key to Flow Free is learning to think backwards. Instead of starting at a dot and wandering outward, look at the edges and corners of the grid first — paths there have fewer options, which constrains the rest of the board. Work from the outside in, and the solution often reveals itself.

How to play Flow Free
- Tap or drag to connect. Tap one colored dot and drag to its matching pair, or tap both dots in sequence to auto-connect the shortest path.
- Cover the entire grid. The puzzle is solved only when every cell is covered by a pipe and all color pairs are connected.
- No crossing or overlapping. Pipes cannot cross each other or share a cell. Plan your paths so each color has its own lane.
- Use edge logic. Corner and edge cells have fewer options — start there to constrain the rest of the board.
- Earn Retro Coins. Complete levels to score points. The platform converts 100 points into 1 Retro Coin for your arcade wallet.
