Fillomino is a puzzle of division and adjacency. A grid contains scattered numbers. Your task is to divide the entire grid into regions (polygons) following two rules.
First: each region must contain exactly as many cells as the number it contains. A cell with a 3 must be part of a region of exactly 3 cells. A cell with a 1 is a region of one cell by itself.
Second: regions of the same size cannot share an edge (they can touch diagonally). This is the constraint that drives the logic. If two adjacent cells both contain 3, they cannot be in the same region — each needs two more cells, and those cells cannot be shared.
The solving techniques are elegant. A 1 is always isolated — it cannot have any same-size neighbor. Two adjacent 2s must each be a separate 2-cell region. A 3 surrounded by numbers on three sides can only grow in one direction.

How to play Fillomino
- Divide into regions. Split the grid into polygonal regions. Each region must contain at least one number.
- Match region size to number. A region containing a number N must have exactly N cells. A 3 means a 3-cell region.
- No same-size regions touching. Two regions of the same size cannot share an edge. They may touch diagonally.
- Use forced cells. A 1 is always a single cell. Two adjacent 2s cannot be in the same region.
- Earn Retro Coins. Complete puzzles to score points based on size and solving time. Faster solutions earn more Retro Coins.
