Blockudoku is the addictive block puzzle that blends the spatial thinking of Tetris with the satisfying clears of Sudoku. The concept is beautifully simple: you are given three blocks at a time, and you must place each one onto a 9x9 grid.
The magic happens when you completely fill a row, a column, or a 3x3 square — the entire line vanishes in a burst of color, freeing up space and scoring big points. Clear multiple lines at once for combo bonuses that can dramatically extend your game.
Unlike Tetris, blocks never fall on their own. The only thing that ends the game is running out of space to place the shapes you are given. This means every move is a deliberate decision: do you set up a clear now, or hold out for a bigger combo later?
The game starts slow and strategic, but as the board fills up, the tension rises. The best players learn to keep the center of the board open, plan three or four moves ahead, and resist the urge to clear lines too early.

How to play Blockudoku
- Drag blocks onto the grid. You are given three blocks at a time. Drag any of them onto the 9x9 board where it fits.
- Clear lines and squares. Filling a complete row, column, or 3x3 square removes all blocks in that line and scores points.
- Plan for combos. Clearing multiple lines at once with a single block gives a combo bonus. Set up the board for big clears.
- Manage your space. The game ends when none of the three available blocks can fit on the board. Keep the center open and avoid fragmenting empty cells.
- Earn Retro Coins. Every game is submitted to the leaderboard and converted to Retro Coins at 100 points per coin.
