How to play Chess<\/h2>\n

  2. Stay out of check.<\/strong> You cannot leave your king in check. Illegal moves are hidden. If your king is in check you must move or block.<\/li>\n
  3. Checkmate to win.<\/strong> Trap the enemy king so it has no legal moves while in check. Stalemate (no moves but not in check) is a draw.<\/li>\n
  4. Use hints and undo.<\/strong> Tap Hint to flash the best move, Undo to step back one ply. Both help you learn.<\/li>\n
